Noosa dreaming

Aw! She’s back!

We’re still alive. It was just a crazy time of the year. The last two months has been a challenging time in our household. One week into my new job, Henry came down with laryngitis, then bronchitis and gastro which eventually infected both of his parents and we were all sick for 7 weeks straight!

We literally went on our prebooked Noosa holiday in November with a crackly voice.

But we had a great holiday anyhow. It’s our first trip back to Noosa since the birth of Henry. Obviously we couldn’t go out for dinner and cocktails at posh restaurants every night like we used to (we tried but had to evacuate from the chaos after entrees) but we tried to make it work as a team. We also managed to get an amazing babysitter (thanks, Olivia!) so we could have a date night on our own at Locale – my new favourite on Hastings Street.

Henry absolutely loved Noosa. We had a pool where we stayed so Mike would take him down for a dip twice a day!

My new favourite haunt – Locale

If you happen to be there on a Sunday, make sure you visit the farmers market. One of the stalls sells organic gnocchi and they are the best gnocchi I’ve ever had!

It was lovely to have a little break in the midst of the Pre Christmas rush and we just can’t wait to go back next year.
