Henry’s Christening

We finally had Henry baptised last Sunday. Considering we’re both Catholics, we had been a bit naughty procrastinating til now. Better late than never!

Henry wearing Bardot Junior suit. He looked at himself in the mirror and laughed!

We had Henry baptised at St Peter’s Catholic’s Church (Toorak) where we got married, by the same priest who married us three years ago. It felt a little déjà vu to be back at the altar again – only this time we had a wriggly little dude between us!

We opted to have only immediate family there to keep it intimate and stress free. And this spiritual occasion went smoothly even though Henry was trying to talk over the priest at the altar!

And here comes….

We had croqembouche for dessert. Yum

I had ordered a customised christening bunting which sadly didn’t arrive in time. So I dropped in a two dollar shop in Malvern and bought all sorts of stickers to make my own bunting a day before the christening!

Can’t believe how things have changed in just 3 years. Got engaged, married, bought a house, had a baby and now I’m going back to work in 2 weeks!

Feel so blessed to have my little family xx
