Cold weather style: maternity edition

First day of my official maternity leave and I’m out with my lovely friend Annabelle for a little retail therapy.

The Antartic Vortex has finally abated but we’re still down to 6-13C in melbourne.

With less than 5 weeks to go, I’ve finally waved my white flag and resigned to the fact that those maternity clothes I’ve bought at the beginning of my pregnancy are never going to fit.

So here I am, still in my normal clothes but one size larger than my usual size.

Addie wearing: Zara top, David Lerner maternity leggings, Louis Vuitton silk and wool shawl, Paul & Joe Sister dellarte wool coat, Stuart Weitzman ankle boots Chanel bag.
I bought this pink coat from Christensen Copahagen 3 months before Europe but totally forgot about it until yesterday.

Here’s a close-up of the ensemble:

To my surprise, my usually “fashion-backward” husband can’t stop raving about it. “It looks so friendly and like a marshmallow. So much better than your harsh trench coats!” It’s an odd compliment but I’ll take it.

Another newfound love of mine worth sharing this week is chanel’s rouge coco shine in Etourdie.

It looks bright and glittery at a glance but goes on so shiny and sheer.

I absolutely adore the dewy pink/raspberry finish.

That’s it from me for today! A bientot!

I think the coat a nice change for your hubby cos it’s a really sweet colour compared to dark coloured ones.
How long are you planning for your maternity leave? Are you planning to 坐月 as well?
